Help for details for sentences

On this screen you can examine the target sentence in more detail.

You can jump to the attributes of the target sentence and, if available, display the assignments from the target sentence to the source sentence.

You can also translate words or word groups from both sentences using an external translation programme. Reverso offers very good options for this. MyPhraser is not a translation programme and the assignments are not always literal translations. You can therefore have words translated again, which is particularly helpful if no assignments have been maintained.

If you are unsure of the pronunciation, you can go to Google Translator and have the sentences read out to you in a computer language.

By default, the target language is used as the from-language and the source language as the to-language. However, you can change both sides as you wish and have words and phrases translated into all myPhraser languages. Copy and paste the word or phrase into the translation field and click on the Reverso button.

If you click on Context in Reverso, you will see both sentences in full, with a new translation from Reverso on the right, which may differ slightly from the sentence in myPhraser. Here you can have both sentences read out to you.

Reverso opens a new tab and Context opens another tab, you can return to this screen by deleting the tabs.

For registered users:

If you want to remember a specific word or group of words in the target language in order to repeat them explicitly, you can save them in your favourite or learning vocabulary, and the groups of words in the learning word groups. To do this, you need to copy and paste the vocabulary or word group into the translation field.

You can save word groups here independently of assignments. The programme then searches for sentences with exactly this word group.
